Donna Sherer (SC Auctioneer's License #4750) is the local owner of Caring Transitions of Upstate SC. She purchased the business in August 2019. As a Realtor, she could see and appreciate the value of this type of service. Now, three years and one pandemic into this adventure, Donna and her CT Team have witnessed a steady growth in their Online Auction business and are excited to be able to offer a full suite of Caring Transitions services, including move management, packing, organizing, resettling, decluttering and estate clearing. We can also help get your home ready for market by coordinating repairs and cleaning services.

Caring Transitions of Upstate SC serves Greenville, Spartanburg, Simpsonville, Fountain Inn, Mauldin, Taylors, Greer, Duncan, Easley and the surrounding areas.

Donna was an only child, and when her father died, the process was completely overwhelming. Her husband, Kevin, had researched opening a Caring Transitions franchise a few years prior, but the territory wasn’t available. While they were dealing with clearing her father’s house, her husband called Caring Transitions again and found out the Parkinsons were looking to retire. Donna and Kevin eventually closed on her father's house and reinvested by buying their franchise. She is very excited to be offering this much-needed service in our community.

In addition to experience with Donna’s father’s house, she also understands what it’s like to help people with memory challenges and relocation – Donna helped to care for her stepmother, who had Alzheimer’s Disease. We believe that Caring Transitions’ compassionate approach to helping people who need memory care can make a transition significantly smoother.
